It is an absolute style and design for Europe as it has been produced in a special limited edition of only 1999 copies for the Japanese market. Therefore, European countries could hardly see this model and use such a stylish watch.

Galaxy Express 999 is a manga and an anime series produced by Toei Animation and was created by Leiji Matsumoto in an amazing design and stylish ideas. The watch was published for the first time in 1977 by Shogakukan in the Big Comic and it was completed in 1981 after the publication of 21 tankōbon. The animated series was aired in Japan in 1978 and consists of 113 episodes and 4 OVAs. Since the time it was available in markets, it became very popular in areas where it was made available and people were dying to have this watch.
