Depeche Mode and HublotThese are the excep­tional tal­ents and incred­i­ble per­son­al­i­ties in dif­fer­ent areas that joined forces for a com­mon rea­son. It is the result of their will and strength of mind that they cre­ated an exclu­sive event with dif­fer­ent and pio­neer­ing ideas.

It is located in the heart of Paris at a place named Ven­dome in the Hublot bou­tique. Mar­tin Gore of Depeche Mode and Hublot, CEO Ricardo Guadalupe were given appoint­ments to com­mence together a new larger project of joint fund rais­ing ben­e­fit char­ity of water. This was a non-profit orga­ni­za­tion whose assign­ment was to pro­vide clean and pro­tected water to the devel­op­ing coun­tries of the world.

This unique ini­tia­tive is part of the Delta Machine tour, world tour 2013 — 2014 Depeche Mode. To raise money for char­ity: water, Depeche Mode and Hublot today unveiled together.

- 10 boxes that were excep­tional and unique and each con­tained a signed gui­tar along with a watch. The watch had a red cen­tral hand for the chrono­graph, each engraved with the name of one of the 10 cities that have a spe­cial mean­ing for Depeche Mode. The first was the Paris case which was handed over to the lucky buyer with the priv­i­lege to see him back in per­son today at the Bou­tique Hublot Vendome.

- The series of lim­ited edi­tion Depeche Mode 2014 steel (only 250 num­bered pieces) watches. These watches will be avail­able at Hublot bou­tiques and at the entire inter­na­tional net­work very soon.

- Finally, an excep­tional unique piece “Depeche Mode Tour­bil­lon” was a great com­pli­ca­tion skele­ton of black tita­nium tonneau-shaped with a stud­ded bracelet (a first for Hublot). It was espe­cially exposed to Vendôme in antic­i­pa­tion of the auc­tion on March 6 2014 in Moscow dur­ing a pri­vate din­ner the pre­vi­ous 7 concert.

Prof­its from this trans­ac­tion will be donated to char­ity: water was cho­sen by Depeche Mode and Hublot.

Mar­tin Gore of Depeche Mode mem­ber, said, “It’s been a while that I sup­port and advo­cates for char­ity: water. I am there­fore pleased that as a group and with the sup­port of our loyal friend Hublot, we can extend our orga­ni­za­tion and help make a real dif­fer­ence in coun­tries strug­gling to sur­vive with­out access to water drinking. ”

Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, added: “This unique col­lab­o­ra­tive effort is a con­tin­u­a­tion of our spe­cial rela­tion­ship with Depeche Mode. We met in 2010 and the cur­rent is made imme­di­ately. If our friend­ship can make a dif­fer­ence, then do not hes­i­tate because the link is shared. If you dis­agree, you impov­er­ish. Hublot luck and suc­cess, and must be able to give a hand to those in need. ”

Depeche Mode and Hublot began their part­ner­ship in 2010, rais­ing money for The Teenage Can­cer Trust with a char­ity con­cert at the Royal Albert Hall in Lon­don and the sin­gle auc­tion sale.

Early 2013 in Berlin, Hublot and Depeche Mode have decided to col­lab­o­rate on an even larger scale by cre­at­ing a lim­ited edi­tion Big Bang Depeche Mode black ceramic in par­al­lel with Delta Machine World Tour, ben­e­fit­ing char­ity. This was the orga­ni­za­tion that was cho­sen and received by the strong sup­port of the group and the Swiss watch brand.

Char­ity: Water in a few words

The mis­sion of char­ity: water is to pro­vide clean, safe water to peo­ple in devel­op­ing coun­tries around the world. Nearly 800 mil­lion peo­ple do not have access to safe drink­ing water. This prob­lem of epi­demic pro­por­tions that char­ity: water is com­mit­ted to erad­i­cate. So far, the orga­ni­za­tion has sup­ported more than 8,100 projects of water sup­ply, sup­ply­ing safe drink­ing water to more than 3.2 mil­lion peo­ple in more than 20 coun­tries. Through this part­ner­ship Hublot and Depeche Mode have indi­cated their com­mon com­mit­ment to mak­ing the impact of char­ity: Water more global.
