New Osmior Tourbillon Regulateur — L.Leroy


The lux­ury watch Osmior Reg­u­la­teur has allowed teach­ers L.Leroy to see their efforts rewarded with the 1st prize at the Inter­na­tional Com­pe­ti­tion of chronom­e­try in the cat­e­gory Tour­bil­lon, deliv­ered this year at the Musee du Temps de Besancon.

La Mai­son L.Leroy born under the arcades of the Palais Royal in Paris in 1785 wrote to this day some of the most beau­ti­ful pages of watch­mak­ing and time­keep­ing French. The story con­tin­ues with the ’ lux­ury watch Tour­bil­lon Regulateur.

At the third bien­nial edi­tion of the Inter­na­tional Com­pe­ti­tion Chronome­ter attended by 17 com­pa­nies: 14 Swiss, 1 Ger­man and 2 French out of a total of 38 that if they were pre­sented, twice the pre­vi­ous edi­tion of 2011.

This award illus­trates the tra­di­tion of excel­lence of the Mai­son L.Leroy, who scored in the course of its long his­tory the pres­ti­gious record of 384 gold medals in com­pe­ti­tions chronometry.

The 01 Leroy, excep­tional time­pieces with 26 com­pli­ca­tions, was awarded the Grand Spe­cial Jury Prize at the Uni­ver­sal Exhi­bi­tion of 1900, and will remain a cen­tury long, the clock more com­plex built on a global scale.

Today, the Tour­bil­lon Reg­u­la­teur line Osmior, auto­matic raised gold case that is inspired by the extra­or­di­nary pieces of the pri­vate museum of the brand, is an exclu­sive cre­ation of mas­ter watchmakers.

It rep­re­sents a con­tem­po­rary inter­pre­ta­tion of this sys­tem by incor­po­rat­ing an escape­ment made of pure dia­mond allow­ing the mech­a­nism to gain in light­ness and durability.

This time­piece is equipped with a motion made by the horo­log­i­cal Man­u­fac­ture in the Val­ley of the Jura which is part of the Fes­tina Group Switzer­land as well as the Man­u­fac­ture des Spi­raux Echappe­ment SA that con­structs the integrity of the exhaust sys­tem, includ­ing spiral.

Thanks to this struc­ture, the Mai­son L.Leroy can equip most of its mod­els with gauges of man­u­fac­tur­ing exclusive.
