On the occasion of the largest watch fair in the world, Rolex unveiled no less than five new watches. This article is written to focus on the new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona platinum!
Rolex unveiled at the first day of Baselworld a new Cosmograph Daytona, two new Day-Date, a new GMT Master II, and a new Lady Datejust Pearlmaster.
Today we take the advantage of only speak of Daytona celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and there is already plenty to do!

This new model was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the great Daytona. 50 years of happiness between a watch and its public, it is not nothing! Admittedly, this iconic model has always captivated fans, and individual enthusiasts of horology and automotive. New Daytona was expected, and like every year before the Basel fair, speculations were rife. Now it’s there, we can describe it as elegant and timeless as her sisters, and she takes the opportunity for some very original colors, while remaining very faithful to the model in its forms.
This magnificent 950 platinum version is also 40 mm and happiness comes back than ever with a ceramic bezel, but not just any. This is a one-piece bezel Cerachrom brown chocolate that surrounds and highlights a blue dial glacier reflection captivating. On the same dial, a nice reminder of the color of the bezel on three counters hallmarks of Daytona.
At the heart of the beautiful, exceptional caliber, 4130, developed and manufactured in-house by Rolex, as indeed all calibres. This mechanical chronograph with column wheel and automatic winding movement is precise and of course COSC certified performance. The oscillator includes a patented Rolex PARACHROM Spiral developed in an exclusive alloy. This spiral is a small concentrated know-how which has high stability against magnetic fields and temperature changes.
Hand strap, this course is a solid-link Oyster 950 platinum clasp Oysterlock with the famous patented Rolex; but also with a mesh extension Easylink, which permits adjustment to 5 mm, always providing great comfort.

Remains to be seen what will be the talk of the brand in the media and how this page will be hosted. We always have hope because with a brand that has as much fame (more than 400 000 fans in two days), there is a good chance that things are still made in full.
