The luxury watch Osmior Regulateur has allowed teachers L.Leroy to see their efforts rewarded with the 1st prize at the International Competition of chronometry in the category Tourbillon, delivered this year at the Musee du Temps de Besancon.
La Maison L.Leroy born under the arcades of the Palais Royal in Paris in 1785 wrote to this day some of the most beautiful pages of watchmaking and timekeeping French. The story continues with the ‘ luxury watch Tourbillon Regulateur.
At the third biennial edition of the International Competition Chronometer attended by 17 companies: 14 Swiss, 1 German and 2 French out of a total of 38 that if they were presented, twice the previous edition of 2011.
This award illustrates the tradition of excellence of the Maison L.Leroy, who scored in the course of its long history the prestigious record of 384 gold medals in competitions chronometry.
The 01 Leroy, exceptional timepieces with 26 complications, was awarded the Grand Special Jury Prize at the Universal Exhibition of 1900, and will remain a century long, the clock more complex built on a global scale.
Today, the Tourbillon Regulateur line Osmior, automatic raised gold case that is inspired by the extraordinary pieces of the private museum of the brand, is an exclusive creation of master watchmakers.
It represents a contemporary interpretation of this system by incorporating an escapement made of pure diamond allowing the mechanism to gain in lightness and durability.
This timepiece is equipped with a motion made by the horological Manufacture in the Valley of the Jura which is part of the Festina Group Switzerland as well as the Manufacture des Spiraux Echappement SA that constructs the integrity of the exhaust system, including spiral.
Thanks to this structure, the Maison L.Leroy can equip most of its models with gauges of manufacturing exclusive.
