At Baselworld, OMEGA is presenting the world premiere of Seamaster Planet Limited Edition. This is a Special Edition available in only eight copies. As stated in the same house in a statement it is an outstanding example of craftsmanship and novelty.
The new Seamaster Planet Orange shows a case of 43 mm diameter made of 950 platinum brushed and polished. It is equipped with a bidirectional rotating bezel 24 hours GMT, whose bright orange ceramic ferrule (patent pending) is a novelty.

A confirmation of the uniqueness of this timepiece, on the back, next to the limited edition number is engraved with the words of World Premiere. The sapphire crystal is enabling us to enjoy the OMEGA Co-Axial, the heart of the Seamaster Planet, an exclusive Co-Axial mechanical movement with silicon balance spring.
It is a movement with automatic winding in both directions to reduce winding time and the first to be equipped with the owner Omega GMT complication. E ‘equipped with Co-Axial Escapement for greater precision stability and durability, has a Si14 silicon balance spring on free sprung balance, 2 barrels mounted in series, an oscillating mass and balance bridge in red gold 18kt.
The dial, in strict platinum sanded and protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, is in contrast with the warm orange color of the ceramic bezel. Alongside the central hands of hours, minutes and seconds and faceted indexes in 18 carat white gold, stand out the number 6 – 9-12, the term applied to GMT and GMT center hand that completes one rotation every 24 hours, aluminum orange. This complication can be used together with the rotating bezel to control the time of a second and a third time zone. Just below the inscription GMT applied in orange, you can see the engraving.
The case engraved with the words “World Premiere”
The wrist watch Seamaster Planet Ocean is water resistant up to -600 meters and is accompanied by an orange alligator strap along with stitching or platinum folding clasp in platinum 950. It also provided a second rubber strap orange accompanied by an appropriate tool to perform independently replacement.
Covered by a warranty of four years, this valuable model is presented to the customer in a special wooden box.
