A sample of the templates present at the Baselworld 2014 has been unveiled by Oris. This sample is a timepiece named as Oris O’Young Darryl which is a Limited Edition. It is dedicated to tenth Grand Prix Macau that was won by the great Darryl O’Young. He was a celebrity of Gran Turismo circuits. It is also Limited Edition and contains just 500 pieces l over the world.
The watch has dark gray dial that is sheltered by a sapphire curved crystal which is on both its sides, anti-reflective. It shows the numbers functional with the SuperLumiNova inserts along with a ring of dark gray color on its dial having minutes scale.
The hands of minutes and hours are of black nickel along with white SuperLumiNova inserts. However, the hands of watch are red for the functions of chronograph.
Here are 3 usual chronograph counters on its dial: constant seconds at chrono 9 o’clock, 12 hours at chrono 6 and 30 minutes at 12. Additionally, the results on dial of pilot are emphasized by showing the numbers of 10 of red color and highlighting the numbers of 55 on scale of the minutes.
There is a complex outline of spokes and rims encouraged by O’Young’s BMW. It embellishes the case back which is transparent crystal.
This timepiece has water resistance of about -100 m. moreover it is provided with rubber black strap having flexible integrated black and legs folding clasp with coating of PVD.
